Biography
Cara is an actress, Musical Theatre performer and vocalist originally from Nottingham, currently based in London and the East Midlands. She is available for bookings in musical theatre, as a soloist headline act or for corporate events, and as part of the duo Pop Up Piano Bar UK.
Cara made her professional debut in the hit children's television series 'Bernard's Watch' aged ten, and since has had a variety of credits both on stage, in film and on television.
Cara, who trained at The London School Of Musical Theatre, and the BAFTA Award winning Television Workshop in Nottingham, is also a keen footballer, and supports Coventry City. Her football reel can be found on the 'skills' page of this website. Cara also has intermediate piano/keyboard skills, has good music theory knowledge, and can sight read sheet music. She has also worked alongside West End and Broadway legends Keala Settle and Kerry Ellis.

Cara is well known in the world of Pantomime, after being nominated for 'Best Female' at The Great British Pantomime Awards in 2017 and 2018, for her roles as Cinderella at Derby Arena, and as Jill in Mother Goose at the Sheffield Lyceum. The latter production also won Best Pantomime 2018. In 2024 Cara was nominated for Best Villain at the UK Pantomime Association Awards for her role as the Wicked Queen in Snow White at Loughborough Town Hall, which also won Best Pantomime that year.

In January 2021, to compliment her work alongside her acting career as a vocal coach, Cara trained and qualified as a Vocal Health First Aider, a person who has the practical skills to spot vocal dysfunction and has knowledge of factors that can affect vocal wellbeing. A Vocal Health First Aider can also support you to put steps in place to maintain optimum vocal health, and refer you to recieve the right treatment for a vocal injury.
Cara recently returned from a bespoke training programme in New York at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, as well as 1-1s where she worked with and continues to be mentored by Matt Farnsworth's Vocal Studio, Natalie Weiss and Sarah Brown Vocal Health.
